Flamy ("the App") is designed with privacy at its core. We believe cooking should be simple, personal, and private. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect (or don’t), how it’s used, and how it’s handled.

Information We Collect

No Personal Data Collection.
Flamy does not collect, store, or track any personal data. We do not use analytics, tracking tools, or third-party SDKs to monitor your behavior or usage within the App.

Audio Processing.
When you use Flamy to turn a spoken recipe into step-by-step instructions, your audio is processed locally on your device whenever possible.

If Apple’s Foundation Models are not available on your device, Flamy may send the audio or its transcription to OpenAI’s ChatGPT API solely for the purpose of generating the recipe steps. This data is used only to perform the requested transformation and is not stored or used by Flamy for any other purpose.

How We Use Information

Any data processed by Flamy is used exclusively to provide the core functionality of the App:

We do not analyze usage patterns, track events, or profile users.

Data Storage

Your recipes and related content are stored locally on your device or in your personal iCloud account, depending on your system settings. This data is private to you and not accessible by Flamy.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties.

When the ChatGPT API is used, data is shared only with OpenAI for the sole purpose of generating recipe content, in accordance with their privacy and data handling policies.

Security

Flamy follows Apple platform best practices and relies on system-level security and iCloud protections to keep your data safe.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected within the App or on our website, with an updated effective date.
